The EG-204M/208M is an intelligent MPEG-4 Mobile
DVR speci?cally developed to meet the rigorous requirements
of the transportation surveillance system. Constructed
with anti-vibration mechanical structure, the EG-204M/208M
also applies robust electronic components for operating
in a wide range of harsh environments. Speci?cally,
the EG-204M/208M incorporates many necessary features
for vehicle applications in addition to the general
surveillance functions offered by the EG-204M/208M
. Users can locate the vehicle positions and record
the speeds and routes of the trip by plugging a
GPS modem to the RS-232 port, and/or wirelessly
send messages out with a GSM transceiver connected
through the USB interface.

Operate in Harsh Environment
The EG-204M/208M is designed to operate at the
temperature ranges from -10¢XC ~ +60¢XC and in the
humidity condition of 5% ~ 85%, and tolerate 0.8G
vibration at the frequencies between 5Hz and 500MHz.
Moreover, EG-204M/208M adopts a 2.5¡¨ HDD mounted
on a swappable tray for the vibration buffering.
GPS Support
The EG-204M/208M can locate the vehicle positions
and records the speeds and routes of the trip
by connecting a GPS modem to the RS-232 port.
GSM Support
Incorporating the SMS (short message system),
the DG204M/ 208M is able to transmit messages
out by a GSM modem connected through the USB interface.
